Registered Dental Hygienist
I have been a hygienist for over 18 years. I have a strong passion for knowledge and personal growth. I am dedicated to keeping up with the most current research and working with the latest technology, offering our patients the best available treatments. I enjoy the relationships that develop between my patients and myself. A lot of my time with each patient is concentrated on dental and oral hygiene education. If a patient knows why it’s important to keep their mouth healthy, and how to do so, they’ll have a great and healthy smile for life.
I have been married to a wonderful husband for over 31 years and we have two amazing daughters: Jessie and Taylor Bea, who keep me extremely busy away from work. I love camping, softball, and football.
Registered Dental Assistant and Treatment Coordinator
My favorite part of my job is educating our patients about the dentistry they need. I like getting to know each of our patients on a personal level, learning about their lives and interests and of course about their goals for their oral health. It’s personally and professionally rewarding to help people accomplish their dental goals and to work with them to find the best solution for their particular situation. I love our team and doctors because of the passion that everyone has for dentistry and helping people.
Continuing to learn is part of my journey. I am attending Sierra College and working towards my degree in biological sciences.
I believe in living a happy and healthy lifestyle. I love being active at the gym, hiking or other outdoor activities. I am also a writer and an artist. Writing gives me a break from daily life and lets me enter a life of imagination and creativity.
Registered Dental Assistant and Treatment Coordinator
I joined the dental field as a lead registered dental assistant in 2010. My background includes cosmetic dentistry, oral surgery and basic family dentistry.
My favorite part of the job includes working with patients to make informed decisions about their dental treatment and ensuring they receive comfortable, comprehensive care at their visits. I am passionate about good dental health and doing whatever is needed to help patients achieve that goal.
At Maidu Dental, I learn something new every day, which makes coming to work fun and exciting. Our team is enthusiastic about the quality of work we deliver and we place great value on delivering topnotch results for our patients. As my home away from home, I enjoy working at a place that priorities care and integrity for each other and for our patients.
I am married and the mother of one lovely daughter and three step kids. My husband owns his own construction business and I have a little Pomeranian who loves joining us in outdoor activities like boating, camping, walking or sitting in the truck while we snowboard.
I have been working in the dental industry since 1982. I began my career in a dental office in the Bay Area where I spent 26 years as a front office lead. I feel blessed to have found such a warm team at Maidu Dental that cares about each other and our patients. I enjoy being a part of a team that values and trusts each other and works together to put the patient and their needs first. One of the perks of the job is interacting with each of the patients and seeing their healthy, happy smiles. Having worked as a front office lead in dental offices for over 35 years, one of my favorite things includes building a strong bond with my team and each of the patients – it’s why I love coming to work every day.
When I’m not at the office, I enjoy spending time with my family. I have a husband of 30+ years, three children, and three grandchildren, who are the loves of my life. My husband and I love to go kayaking and on daily walks together with our yellow lab Cooper – but most of all we love being Grandma and Grandpa.
I have been in dentistry all my life, I started my career as a dental assistant in 1974 and I migrated to administrative and management work soon after that. I have been working for Maidu Dental since 2007. While you might not always see my face in the office, I am constantly in the background, on the phone, working with our patients and their dental insurances, helping patients maximizing their dental insurance benefits and helping them choose the right financial option for them. Dr. Markham is not only my respected employer, she has also become my friend. I love working here, I am really proud to be part of a great team and our patients definitely feel that.
I have been married for 34 years to my wonderful husband Jack and we have 2 grown children and 2 grandchildren: Jaden and Nicol. We still reside in Cool, in the same home where we raised our kids. My husband and I love golfing and traveling in our RV every chance we get.
Registered Dental Assistant in Extended Functions 2
My favorite part of my job is learning about our patients. I love the conversations I have with our patients during their visits. Whether we’re talking about the local news, an addition to their family, or their most recent vacation, we’re becoming friends. It’s a great feeling to see happy, healthy smiles on my friends’ faces at the end of their visit.
I started my dental career in 2000. Working with Dr. Markham is wonderful; she has created an environment where each patient is treated as family and you can feel that as soon as you walk through the front door. Dr. Markham keeps up with the latest technology and dental procedures which make my job rewarding and exciting.
I live in Auburn with a fantastic husband and two wonderful children. In my spare time, I enjoy trail running and mountain biking.
Registered Dental Assistant
I assist the doctors chairside and I find it very rewarding when our patients, even when they are fearful and apprehensive, leave with a smile, always telling us the dental appointment went so much easier than they thought it would go.
I know I did my job well when our patients leave happy and with higher self-esteem, as our ultimate goal as a team is patient satisfaction. Part of making our patients feel at ease is using humor and getting our patients to relax and take the edge off.
I have recently started my career in dentistry as an RDA (registered dental assistant) and I am working toward obtaining my dental degree. Yes, I want to become a dentist!
I enjoy playing and watching football and basketball in my free time. I have a puppy named Deebo and I recently just got a pet chameleon named Henry.
I graduated from dental assistant school in 2014 and I love being in the dental field.
My favorite aspect of my job is interacting with patients on a personal level and being able to help them feel comfortable and confident with their teeth and the work we do. I enjoy building a strong, reliable relationship with my fellow team members who are some of the most professional and talented coworkers I’ve ever had the pleasure of working with.
I have two furry babies (dogs) named Zaffa Walker Texas Ranger Raymond and Penny Lane. I am outgoing and enjoy laughing with my coworkers and friends. Outside of work, you can usually find me at the gym working out. At the end of 2017 I will be certified in personal training. I love exploring new cities and learning new things. I have a hard time sitting still and am usually on the go at the gym or hanging out with friends.
Administrative Office Assistant
I started working for Maidu Dental in the fall of 2015. I had never worked in the dental field before but I learn new and interesting things every day! And you better believe I floss more often! I do all kinds of tasks, from putting furniture together to product ordering or even coffee runs. I’m the office go-to girl for special projects that the other team members just don’t have time for!
I love that it is always different here at the office and that the vibes are always positive! One day I might be putting together gift bags and another I might be ordering uniforms. I love that the staff is always so appreciative of everything I do, even if it’s just taking out the garbage.
For starters, everyone here is an absolute gem! We have a fantastic bunch of personalities here that just work well together. Our main goal is that our patients have a remarkable experience in our office. Everyone always has a great attitude even if the day is crazy! I can honestly say that I love coming to work every day.
